Fern Karhu, has successfully been in real estate management for over 36 years, first at one of the largest real estate companies in New York and then in her own business for the last 13 years. In late 2009, she opened her own Real Estate Company with business partner Bart Cafarella, and in a little more than a decade, Realty Connect USA has grown to over 2 billion dollars in annual sales volume, with over 1000 agents, 16 locations and is one of the leading real estate firms on Long Island & Queens. The success of RCUSA is attributed to strong and dedicated leadership, a generous fee structure to their agents, state of the art technology, ongoing training with nationally renowned educators, and by constantly delivering cutting edge technologies to their sales agents. The goal of the company is to continue to provide quality service to their clients through their knowledgeable sales team and to offer true professionalism in the marketplace, of course with genuine respect and a smile.

In addition, Fern has a deep and heartfelt conviction to give back to the community and to help others. Her charitable endeavors include: The Lustgarten Foundation, US Marine Corps Toys for Tots, Island Harvest, Ruff House Animal Rescue, Last Hope Animal Shelter, Hewlett House 1 in 9 Breast Cancer Research, US Veterans of America, Testaverde Foundation for Spinal Cord Injuries, FANS and she even established a mechanism to provide meals to our first responders through the company’s Fueling the Frontlines campaign. Recognizing the need to give back Fern also coordinating a free Narcan (opioid overdose prevention drug) training for agents to try and combat the ever- growing opioid epidemic.
